London has a lot to offer. From its underground network of trains, plenty of career opportunities, endless bars and pubs and much more.
But despite the UK's capital having lots to offer, some have suggested that London still lacks a lot of important aspects.
Locals and tourists alike have taken to the forum site Reddit to share their opinions and thoughts on what the great region of London lacks.
It comes as one tourist asked in r/London: "As a tourist, what do you think London lacks?" adding: "Is there anything you can find in other cities (serious answers only, please) which nowhere in London seems to offer?"
Here's what Londoners had to say in what London lacks.
What does London lack? Here's what locals say
One of the most popular opinions was how London doesn't seem to be a 24-hour city, comparing it to the likes of Paris, Berlin and Tokyo.
As one Reddit user shared: "Paris, Berlin, and Tokyo all have transport systems that shut at night just like London yet are much more 24-hour places, with things being open all night."
Adding: "The real magic of 24-hour cities is that many places are reliably open, and that creates a certain ease of living that goes so much deeper than nightlife.
It’s not about having more clubs and bars open late, but cafes, pharmacies, supermarkets, shopping centres etc being open 24 hours provide more of a nighttime ‘third space’ so to speak."
One person who previously lived in New York said that shop opening times should be longer: "I moved here a few years ago from New York, and the non-24-hours was a big adjustment. I don't even need 24/7, but just reasonable opening hours would be great."
Someone who shared a similar opinion added: "The thing that baffles me most is the hours - after 9pm in London it becomes a challenge to find things that are open, and after 11pm there is truly nothing."

Another popular response to what London lacks is the choice of public toilets, as one person said: "Just come back from Chicago and I was so impressed by the amount of free and super clean public toilets!
"And toilets for everyone too, not a single portable toilet or grey p**s container thing anywhere!"
