There have been no arrests a week after an Asda staff member was stabbed during an attack in Stepney Green.
The victim, a 30-year-old man who is thought to be security at the shop, was found with stab wounds to his thigh at the supermarket in Anchor Retail Park.
Police cordoned off the store on November 5 at 11.43am.
The man was treated at the scene and was then taken to a major trauma centre.
His injuries were then assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
In an update by the Metropolitan Police one week on, there have been no arrests.
Last week, police said that “urgent enquiries” were underway to identify and apprehend the suspect.
Investigations into the attack continues.
Following the incident, an Asda spokesperson said: "We are in contact with our colleague and are providing ongoing support to him.
“Our thoughts are with him, as well as any colleagues or customers that witnessed this incident.”
The supermarket added: “We continue to advocate for acts of violence or abuse against retail workers to be recognised as a standalone criminal offence. No colleague should come to work in fear of being attacked."
