Two 11-year-old schoolgirls were sexually assaulted by a man on the London underground.

The two girls were travelling on a Central Line train between Bethnal Green and Holborn stations when they were sexually assaulted by a man between 3pm and 3.30pm on July 16.

As they left the train at Holborn the man then attempted to grab one of the girls and pull her towards him but she managed to get away, British Transport Police (BTP) said.

The man left the train at Holborn and boarded a Piccadilly Line train.

Police believe the man in the image has information that could help their enquiries.
