A man was taken to a major trauma centre after being stabbed in the leg in Limehouse.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called at 3.21pm on June 9 with reports of a stabbing in Dod Street.
A trauma team from London's Air Ambulance was sent out by car to support LAS colleagues.
The charity is sent out to help treat London's most seriously ill and injured patients.
Videos and images shared to Facebook showed at least three Metropolitan Police vehicles and an ambulance blocking a section of the road.
A crime scene was erected in what appears to be communal gardens.
The emergency services arrived in Dod Street within five minutes of the report coming in.
At the scene, they found the 28-year-old victim suffering from a leg injury and administered him treatment before taking him to a major trauma centre.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.
