A man broke his nose and leg after he was “pushed from behind and punched” at a Tube station, falling between the train and the platform.
British Transport Police have said that the incident happened at around 7pm on May 6 at Canning Town station, which serves the Jubilee line and DLR.
The victim was on the escalator when a woman allegedly pushed him in the back, causing him to stumble.
When he reached the platform, he was allegedly pushed from behind “with force” by a man.
The victim ended up falling between the train and the platform, leaving him with a broken leg.
The same man also allegedly punched the victim several times in the face, breaking his nose.
