A woman has been pronounced dead after a body washed up in the Isle of Dogs.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to St David's Square on the bank of the Thames yesterday (February 4) to reports of a body.
A woman was found and was pronounced dead at the scene after calls were received at around 11.36am.

READ MORE:A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: "We sent an ambulance crew, three paramedics in fast response cars and members of our Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene.
“Sadly the person had died.”
Police are not treating the woman's death as suspicious but have labelled it to as "unexpected".
Her next of kin have been informed.
