A teenage girl was injured in Bethnal Green after a police van en-route to a car chase collided with her.
The girl, believed to be 17, was taken to hospital after the incident yesterday (January 3) in Bethnal Green Road at the junction with Vallance Road.
The police van had been called to an emergency after a car allegedly failed to stop for police in Glen Mews.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: "At approximately 15:55hrs on Wednesday, 3 January a marked police van was in collision with a female pedestrian in Bethnal Green Road, near the junction with Vallance Road, E2.
"London Ambulance Service attended and the girl, believed aged 17, was taken to hospital for treatment for a shoulder injury; she has since been discharged."

The incident is under investigation.
A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of several offences, including dangerous driving, failing to stop and attempted grievous bodily harm.
He remains in custody, police said.
