Police have traced two teenage girls in connection with an “unprovoked” bus assault that left another woman with a broken nose.
It comes after an appeal in which the Met Police said two women assaulted a woman in her 60s in Newham at 5.20pm on May 28.
They poured drink on her, pushed her to the ground and repeatedly kicked her.
The victim, who was travelling on a route 108 bus, suffered a broken nose and was taken to hospital.
Police called it an "unprovoked" attack.
The women said to have assaulted her got off the bus near Bow Church, they added.
Officers were appealing for the public’s help to identify two women captured on CCTV onboard the bus but two teenage girls have now been traced.
