A teenage boy was this morning charged with murder after a 17-year-old was stabbed to death.
Metropolitan Police detectives arrested a 16-year-old boy on Wednesday (April 12) on suspicion of killing 17-year-old Chima Osuji, who was found in a critical condition in Longshaw Road, Chingford, shortly after 9.20pm on Easter Monday (April 10).
Depsite the efforts of members of the public and London’s Ambulance and Air Ambulance services, he died at the scene.

The teenager is due to appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrate’s Court today (Friday, April 14).
Two other boys have also been arrested on suspicion of Chima’s murder.
One, aged 15, has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in early July while another, aged 16, remains in custody.
Police say Chima’s family have been informed of the developments and are being supported by family liaison officers.
