The UK is a nation of dog lovers, from pugs, bulldogs, huskies and many more, furry friends are loved by many.
In London, 9% of people own a dog and with the wide variety of breeds, it's hard to see what the capital's most popular breed of dog is.
But now new research has revealed just that, as dog food company Ethically Raised has discovered what London's most popular dog breed is.
The results were determined by analysing data from dog registrations at The Kennel Club and then looking at search volumes for these breeds in the top 15 UK cities.
Check to see if your furry best friend made the list.
London's most popular dog breeds
Taking the top spot was the strong yet playful, Boxer with a search volume of over 40,000. The friendly pup is highly athletic and intelligent and makes the perfect family pet.
Just behind the Boxer is the adorable French Bulldog with a search volume of over 27,000. The bread fits seamlessly into any living environment but is ideal for living in the city.
In third place is the cuddly Chow Chow with the distinctive-looking breed having over 27,100 searches in London. The Chow Chow makes a perfect pet thanks to its loyalty and independent nature.
