Four 17-year-olds have been charged with murder after a teenager was fatally stabbed in Mile End.
Shortly after midnight on September 4, police were called to reports of a “large number” of people in Lichfield Road.
They found 17-year-old Shea Gordon with stab wounds, and he died in hospital a short time later.
Another 17-year-old was also taken to hospital with stab wounds, but they were not life-threatening.
Scotland Yard said Shea’s family are being supporting by detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command.
Four 17-year-olds have now been charged with murder.
They were arrested on October 20 and appeared in custody at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on October 21.
All four appeared at the Central Criminal Court on October 25, and were remanded into custody.
Their next court appearance is in January 2023, on a date yet to be decided.
An 18-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder on September 5 has been released with no further action.
