Six people have appeared at Thames Magistrates Court including a teenager from East Ham and two women following a series of drug raids targeting a suspected ‘county line’ supply network to Suffolk.
A seventh person is due in court today, Scotland Yard has confirmed.
Three men from Canning Town, Manor Park and East Ham were among those arrested.
All seven were charged on Tuesday with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin in the past nine months.
Those arrested were 19-year-old Modou Waggeh from Firefly Gardens in East Ham, Kenryck Lynch, 26, from Fendt Close in Canning Town, Ashani Ricketts, 25, from Daines Close in Manor Park, Helmer Evora, 35, from Falcon Avenue in Grays, near Tilbury, and a man and two women from Ipswich—Danny Fenn, 39, Zoe Scales, 34, and Claire Beales.
Kenryck appears today in court. The others were before Thames magistrates yesterday and remanded in custody to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on July 11.
