Tower Hamlets progressed into the second round of the FA Vase after a dramatic penalty shoot win over Halstead Town at Rosemary Lane.
Hamlets sealed a 6-5 win on penalties after they drew 2-2 with the Eastern Counties League Division One outfit on Saturday.
The hosts led on 13 minutes through James Reagan but three minutes before half time Luke With equalised for the visitors to see the sides go in level at half-time.
The second half failed to find a goal meaning the match went to extra time and with six minutes of it remaining With put Hamlets in front, however four minutes into stoppage time Jordan Pavitt took the game to penalties with a last gasp leveller for the hosts.
Hamlets regrouped to win the shootout and progress into the next round.
Rivals Clapton were stunned by the London Lions as they suffered a 3-2 defeat.
The hosts led on 18 minutes when Adam Burchell slotted home after Austin Lipman threaded a defence splitting pass through to him and it was two when Charlie Kasler slotted home after a gift from the Clapton defence four minutes into the second half.
Clapton pulled one back to threaten a comeback but Lions immediately restored their two goal lead when Kyte held the ball up and released Burchell for his second and although the Tons netted a second late on it was too little too late.
