It’s one year since I was re-elected and in that time we’ve delivered a great deal of progress.
Our WorkPath programme supported over 1,100 residents into work last year.
Council funded police officers supported Operation Continuum which led to 190 drug dealers being arrested and referred almost 100 users to drug treatment last year.
We've invested an extra £2.5m into our waste service and new graffiti team to keep Tower Hamlets clean.
I've invested £332m for new council housing schemes and temporary accommodation and we're making major progress on delivering 2,000 new council homes.
We have protected funding for free school meals and provided 20,000 meals in school holidays to tackle holiday hunger.
Despite government austerity meaning our core funding from government is £148m less compared with 2010 we've kept all our libraries, Idea Stores, leisure centres and children's centres open.
There is more to do but we're making real progress.
